Federal Banks

Statement

Issues: Monetary Policy

As a nation it's important that we understand this issue. Despite Bernanke's speech in the article below the Fed can't boost the economy. Stimulus is possible in the short run, but its effects are only temporary and in the long run can be devistating.

Increasing the money supply as this article admits that the Fed does, creates inflation. The value of our currency goes down. The price of everyday goods and services goes up. This could be the definitive issue of our time.

Know this: I believe that auditing the Fed and eventually ending the central banking model is important. For now and during my time in Congress, I will always vote for more accountability and transparency where the Fed (and our government) are concerned. - Joe
